State of MN: Office of Equity in Procurement
Assistant Commissioner
Alice Roberts-Davis is responsible for the state’s real estate and construction functions, as well as its $2.5 billion in annual procurement including the Office of Equity in Procurement and the Procurement Technical Assistance Center. These offices are focused on creating opportunities for businesses, particularly small businesses owned by women, minorities, veterans, and persons with disabilities.

Prior to joining the state, Alice worked for a Fortune 100 company for 12 years in different leadership capacities, including real estate management and compliance. She was responsible for the purchase and development of land across the country, and she led the company’s $1 billion supplier diversity initiative.

Alice considers Elk Grove Village, Illinois her hometown. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned a degree in Communications/Journalism and went on to Florida State University College of Law and earned a Juris Doctor degree. She is married and has twelve year old daughter. She has also studied and taught college level French.
