Perry Jeter II has a diverse and specialized background in both technology innovation and the highest level of organized athletics. Perry served as the national Business Development Manager for a DME equipment company in the DC metro area and directed several strategic initiatives with the VAMC. This particular technology was tested and applied into the Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington DC, and several other partner health systems. Perry directed this innovation process from testing to prototype, to commercialization including the product implementation into the VAMC. Ultimately, his efforts led to an annual R&D budget of several million dollars. Perry has recently directed and secured a federal contract with The United States Air Force in the form of a CRADA to co-develop technology and provide Joint research projects related to multisensory monitoring of individual soldiers or athletes performing high performance activities. Perry’s relationships will allow JetFuel to leverage Air Force Activity research capabilities to accelerate product development cycles and place profitable products in the marketplace. Perry Jeter Jr. has a first hand understanding of sports safety. For years, he has been closely involved with his father’s (former NFL running back with the Chicago Bears) CTE related illness. Perry founded JetFuel with a singular mission – to create a biosensor technology that will augment and improve upon existing applications both in concussion and injury prevention. Jeter is a successful serial entrepreneur who founded and successfully exited three technology companies.
